PRESTON BOUND
Michael Clayton from Clayton Farm Machinery near Preston, Lancs (www.claytonfarmmachinery.co.uk) has just taken delivery of four MAJOR LGP Slurry Tankers complete with 6.4m trailing shoe injectors. These tankers are available for hire to local farmers and contractors. They were purchased in response to an increase in demand for specialist injector systems following changes in NVZ regulations.
The Major Trailing Shoe Applicators offer a spread of 6.4m and have fully galvanized frames. The slurry is distributed through 40mm hosing after being chopped by a hydraulically powered Vogelsang macerator. Wheels are fitted as standard to allow the injector to follow the ground contours, preventing damage to both the machine and the ground.
Michael commented “The MAJOR Trailing Shoe Injector has a newly designed linkage frame. I like how it brings the applicator closer to the slurry tanker than linkages previously offered. It improves the balance of the overall machine and as a result it is a safer to operate.”
