Dust Suppression in Kent
The Pinden Group in Kent (www.pinden.co.uk) recently took delivery of their custom designed and built 2200 Gallon Dust Suppression Tank. The company offers a comprehensive waste management and transport service including roll on/off and skip hire, waste transfer station, recycling facility, asbestos landfill and chalk quarry
This tanker is used for dust suppression and cleaning throughout the site. The rain-gun attachment allows access to difficult to reach areas of the quarry and the water spinner unit spreads a fine mist which dampens the ground allowing compliance with health and safety legislation.
The water spinner unit ensures maximum amount of dust suppression for minimum expense. There is more efficient use of the water within the tanker than traditional splash plate methods and as a result Pinden have noted a significant reduction in their water bills.
